Summary 2017

This year we were joined by three new gardens and other previously opened gardens returned after a period of absence.

Further work on the part of the garden owners, creative planning and much leg work on the part of the organisers; in addition to favourable weather conditions, allowed us to raise a grand donation of £3.900. As agreed by the garden owners earlier in the year, the total was divided into the following donations: £2.500, for the Canal River Trust, £ 900.00 for Bradford on Avon Museum Society and £300.00 towards work on the Trinity Church organ; the three charities selected as this year’s beneficiaries. £200 was also given to Made in Bradford on Avon in appreciation for their generosity and support in organising and helping to man the ticket sales.

If you are interested in joining the team and opening your garden, do let us know, we are always looking for new people and gardens to join us.  Alternatively, if you know of a possible beneficiary that might benefit from our support do tell them to contact us, but please remember they should be a Bradford on Avon based good cause or charity and willing to provide volunteers to help with our ticket sales;
